In-Person Workshops and Events

Métier workshops are held in the top-of-the-line teaching kitchen at the Relais de Camont, led by Nathan Gilmour and his team of experts. The workshops are designed as fully hands-on sessions, where everyone is invited to take up a knife as part of their learning. Additionally, workshops revolve around tasting the various products we're creating together to gain an ever deeper understanding of the animal, butchery, charcuterie, and preservation practices.

There are many affordable opportunities for accommodation in the area, particularly in the town of Nérac, and we will be happy to provide guidance as to where would be the best fit for you and / or your group or family.  Also, we are able to advise you on your way to reach us here in Southwest France - best options are usually either to fly to Bordeaux or Toulouse, then rent a car for flexibility.

Any questions?

Would love to help you any way we can.

The nitty gritty.

Refund policy: Here at Métier, we strive to provide the best experience for our valued participants. While we understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate changes to your plans, we kindly inform you that we do not offer cash refunds for workshop registrations. However, we're pleased to offer the flexibility of transferring your payment to a future workshop of equal value. This ensures that you can still enjoy the enriching experience we provide at a time that better suits your schedule. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming workshops.

Insurance policy: As you plan your journey to France from abroad, we want to ensure your trip is as smooth and worry-free as possible. While we do our utmost to make your experience with us unforgettable, unexpected events can occasionally disrupt travel plans. Therefore, we highly recommend that all participants retain their own travel insurance coverage. Travel insurance offers invaluable protection against unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage, providing you with peace of mind throughout your travels. By securing adequate travel insurance, you can embark on your adventure with confidence, knowing that you're prepared for any unforeseen events that may arise.
